What customers say?

“ Recent vegetarian buffet place. Went during lunch rush. Food was constantly replenished. Sorry it wasn't all you can eat but sold by weight. So couldn't sample new items added when we sat down. Bonus for providing free rice and soup. Also had porridge but did not try. ”

“ The dishes aren't too oily, and for dine-in, there's an all-you-can-eat option of white rice, multigrain rice, fried noodles, sweet potato porridge, soup, and sweet soup. It's quite economical, but there aren't many seats available for dine-in. ”

“ Good selection of vegetarian food, clean, healthy food. Good music in the background :) will come back if I’m in the area again ! ”

- Duncan Chui -

“ On a weekend afternoon, my two happy family members went out for barbecue, while my poor husband went to work, leaving me alone for lunch. Since they were having barbecue, I thought I'd try vegetarian food for a contrast, even though it's unrelated. I have two vegetarian restaurants on my list near my home, and Quanlong Healthy Vegetarian Restaurant is one of them because it meets my needs for health, low oil, light flavors, and a satisfying meal. This restaurant is located in the Dalong Night Market. It seems to have been a chain vegetarian restaurant before changing its name to Quanlong, and business has been just as good both ways. Quanlong Healthy Vegetarian Restaurant operates on a self-service basis, with a minimum spend of NT$70. Pricing is by weight, NT$28 per 100 grams. For an additional NT$20, diners can enjoy unlimited white rice, scrambled eggs rice, hot soup, and sweet soup. While the menu isn't extensive, it's very diverse, especially the cold dishes and fried items, which look both comforting and delicious. During peak hours, it gets crowded, with many customers being middle-aged or elderly, or health-conscious individuals like myself who don't eat much meat. The restaurant is quiet and clean, allowing for a comfortable dining experience. Today's hot soup was bean sprout soup, which I don't like, so I didn't drink it. However, the sweet soup was my favorite, featuring tapioca pearls, and I got plenty of filling. The restaurant is very generous. I recommend the scrambled eggs rice; it's chewy and delicious. I usually fill my plate with a whole plate of vegetables. With the 20 RMB extra for the soup and rice, the total cost is usually between NT$120 and NT$150. This is just for your reference; if you take too many vegetables that absorb the broth, the cost will be higher. After a leisurely meal, since it was a self-service area, we had to take our plates outside to be recycled. The recycling area even had a handwashing station, which was very thoughtful. However, I happened to encounter a staff member tidying up the recycling area, and after waiting for a while, the staff member said impatiently and hurriedly, "Put it down, put it down, put it down, put it down." I suddenly realized that I should let go of some of my worries. ”

“ There's a good selection of dishes, including vegetarian options and fried items, prepared in various ways. For dine-in, you can have all-you-can-eat white and purple rice, and all-you-can-drink sweet and savory soups. It's a great value restaurant. When I paid, the staff asked if I was a student, so there must have been a discount (?). The price was based on weight, so a plate was NT$80, which is quite cheap for Taipei. I'll definitely be a regular customer! ”

“ Good selection of vegetarian dishes and friendly staff. Unlimited rice and soup. ”

“ Thankfully, I saw a review on G-Review sharing an $80 bento box. You have to proactively tell the staff you want a bento box. The staff will ask how much you want and what dishes you don't eat. $80 for a very filling and healthy bento box! ”

“ One of my favourite restaurants in the entire world. You make your own plate and then pay by weight, so you can try a little bit if everything! There is a massive variety and everything I had was delicious. The price is also very good!! I have eaten here twice in 2 days and will definitely be back. Staff are super nice as well. 10/10 highly recommend! ”
